BTV Solo is set to be released early 2012. BTV is a revolutionary piece of software – the all-in-one beat maker. Unfortunately, you’ll have to be a bit patient for it to be released.
However, BTVSoloDownload has a preview of some of this software’s cool features.
BTV Solo is being advertised as a revolution in music production and by the looks of it, this is exactly what it is going to do. There simply isn’t a product which comes close in comparison with BTV Solo.
BTV Solo is the software equivalent of the Beat Thang beat maker for just a fraction of the price of the hardware version.
Several of the big names in the music industry make use of it and this is pretty impressive as well as reassuring about what to expect from this piece of software.
It’s obvious that there has been quite some time and effort invested in the development of BTV Solo. The trigger layout for example has been structured in the most possible logical way. But for an even better user experience it’s also possible to use a MIDI controller. As a matter of fact, I personally would like to advise you to get yourself one. The most common types are the simple MIDI keyboards and the ones with the large trigger pads. There are even MIDI control surfaces which have both the pads and keyboard layout, such as the Akai MPK.
BTV Solo has a lot of features but one particularly handy in combination with tapping in beats is the ability to quantize. While tapping in a beat, it’s not uncommon to end up with something a little off-beat. Quantizing will set these errors straight and leave you with a perfectly tight beat.
This brings us to the actual instruments or sounds which can be used to tap in beats. BTV Solo comes with an integrated WAV editor. This means you can edit any audio sample from inside the software itself. To make it even better, there’s a nifty autochop option which will make your work a lot easier. This means you can import any audio file, chop it up and have samples assigned to your triggers within the shortest amount of time.
Other features that really impressed me me are several effects which can be applied to separate sounds such as Delay, Reverb, Pitch bend, Panning as well ass modulation and pitch wheels.
There is a vast amount of other excellent features of BTV Solo that could be addressed. Visit the official website for further reading and be sure to check out the comments by some seriously established artists further down right here: www.btvsolo.com
This product is a digital download which means you could be pumping out beats straight after your BTV Solo download
